It is important to both organisations to bring together the right stakeholders. The market conditions for the use of LNG in the maritime sector have improved so the time has come to move forward and generate business. The SMM provides an ideal opportunity to do just that.

This new exhibition hall is centred on LNG and, as a result, it is a custom-made stage for the Maritime LNG Platform. It is also the right environment to present relevant expertise, business opportunities, and services related to the use of LNG. Additional sustainable propulsion technologies will complete the offering, including methanol, fuel cell, hybrid and dual fuel technologies. Exhibitors will be able to meet and network with relevant decision-makers from all over the world, e.g. from shipping companies, port authorities, shipping yards, as well as other key leaders from business and politics.

In total, 50,000 visitors from 108 countries are expected to visit the SMM in 2016.
